Conférence de Laura Mandell

Suite à l’atelier sur les éditions critiques en contexte numérique (à 14h30), Laura Mandell présentera une conférence intitulée « After the Scholarly Mongraph »:

This paper discusses the effects of Digital Humanities as an emerging field on scholarly communication and publication practices, arguing that we currently have the opportunity to rejuvenate Humanities disciplines based upon the affordances of digital media. Creating electronic articles, books, and editions that constitute Virtual Research Environments offers us the opportunity to build multi-authored stores of positive knowledge, but this opportunity might be lost if not instaurated by critical analyses of disciplinary practices as codified by the print monograph.
